In the meeting of the FIE Comex on February 20, the provisional membership of the Pakistani Fencing Federation (with full rights and benefits) was unanimously approved. Upon ratification of the FIE Congress at the end of this year, PFF will assume full pledge membership in the FIE. The approval came after the official membership of the PFF was accepted by the Pakistan Olympic Association (NOC).

PFF was established in 1999, but wasn’t active for couple of years and wasn’t recognized with the Pakistani authorities. Currently, there are six provincial fencing associations affiliated to the PFF. The current PFF President is Engr. JAWED SALIM QURESHI and the Secretary General is Mr. USMAN AHMED.
