In consultation with the FIE, the FCA has appointed Ms. LOO ZHAO RONG from Singapore as the official Technical Delegate for the 19th Asian Games that will be held in Hangzhou, China in the year 2022 from September 10 to 25. On behalf of the FCA, Ms. Loo will coordinate with the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee for matters pertaining to its preparation of the Fencing events in the said quadrennial multi-sports continental Games.

For the first time ever, Oceania countries will be invited to participate in the 2022 edition of the Asian Games in Hangzhou. For fencing however, this situation is not new considering that Oceania fencing federations have regularly participated in FCA organized fencing competitions in the Asian continent.
